BJÖRN NILSSON

Björn Nilsson started his design career patinating and hand-painting costumes at the Royal Dramatic Theatre and the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm. In 1980, Björn was recruited by Eco-Boråstapeter, where he designed wallpapers, before taking up the challenge of designing flooring for Forbo Forshaga in 1987. Now Björn is back at Eco-Boråstapeter, this time as Chief Designer. In his 20 years in the industry, Björn has designed many famous patterns for flooring, wallpapers and textiles. Today, he combines responsibility for Eco-Boråstapeter's collections with designing for Cult Design. Björn has a passion for retro patterns.
